Passport Reaches Out Globally and Locally

All summer Passport students have heard about Walk for Water, Malawi, a program that creates awareness of the lack of clean water in Malawi and inspires them to advocate for change.  They have created opportunities for their families, churches, and communities to raise money to help build adequate sanitation and irrigation systems, and clean drinking water.  Their efforts have been creative, contemplative and successful, and the work is not over.

There are still many opportunities to help end extreme poverty and hunger in Malawi.  For more information and inspiration on how you can help, visit their website or join the conversation on their Facebook page.

Called to Follow is a three day retreat for students that includes bible study, worship, recreation, celebrations, and more.

Available in August, the literature is produced by Passport and includes a list of summer staffers, specifically trained and organized by location and specialty, that will also be available as an additional resource.  Look for more information about this retreat in the coming weeks.
