Kentucky's Scarlette Jasper Announced As Newly Approved Field Personnel

After walking through several months of discernment with CBF Global Missions staff, five new field personnel have been selected and are beginning their preparation for service and commissioning at the CBF General Assembly in Atlanta, Ga.:

Scarlette Jasper will be serving in 10 counties of the Lake Cumberland Development Area of South Central and Southwestern Kentucky.  She will be serving among the homeless population and working poor, families in medical crisis, victims of domestic violence, and families in financial crisis.  Scarlette's ministry will interface with CBF’s Together for Hope Initiative.

Scarlette has been involved in this type of ministry for many years, and is excited about the ways that this work can connect with CBF constituency through Together for Hope.  Scarlette is married to Charles Brian Jasper and is the mother of three children.  Her son, Roger, is the pastor of Living Faith Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY, a CBF partner congregation.
