KBF Scholarship

Kentucky Baptist Fellowship offers an annual seminary scholarship to Kentucky seminarians.  Understanding that education is a key component to serving our fellowship, KBF created this scholarship as way to partner with new generations of women and men who answer God’s call upon their life to attend seminary.

The scholarship is for $1,000 annually.  Awarded during KBF’s Spring Gathering (at Third Baptist Church in Owensboro, April 26-27), the scholarship is given to those who meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong consideration will be given to applicants who have served as a KBF summer missionary or intern
  • Support will be considered for any student upon acceptance at, or already attending, Baptist Seminary of Kentucky in Georgetown
  • Support will be considered for students upon acceptance at a CBF partnering theological school.

In order to apply for the scholarship, interested persons must complete the online application form found on the KBF website.  Second, three letters of reference are to be sent to KBF on your behalf (instructions can be found here).  Third, applicants must complete an essay about their faith story and calling.

The deadline to apply for the 2013-2014 KBF Seminary Scholarship is March 22, 2013.  For more information, please visit the KBF website or contact John Lepper.
