If you’ve never had the joy of speaking with or listening to Bo Prosser, you’re missing out! Not only is he very knowledgeable about the Bible, CBF happenings, and living out faith, he also has a super fun style that is guaranteed to make you laugh!
This session was open to laity for a question and answer dialogue. The majority of our time was spent discussing Dawnings, a resource offered by CBF through a grant. Bo describes Dawnings as “the most exciting thing I’ve ever been a part of!” Through this grant, CBF has set a goal to work with 500 churches over the next three to five years in order to provided those churches with the opportunity to engage in spiritual conversations revolving around visioning, forming, and engaging congregations.
Those participating in Dawnings will be provided with a template for conversation and a coach to discuss your church and the needs therein. Bo states that for churches to grow, “engaging community” is a must. Participants selected for Dawnings should be passionate for building the church. Focus should be placed on engagement in the community, the nation, and the world.
