CBF Kentucky Theological Scholarship

Each year, CBF Kentucky awards a $2,000 scholarship, a one-time only award to be applied toward the following semester. It is intended for students who attend seminary in Kentucky and/or hope to minister in Kentucky. Strong consideration will be given to Baptist Seminary of Kentucky students, but support will also be considered for students at other CBF partnering schools.

The recipient is determined by the Ministries Workgroup of the CBF Kentucky Coordinating Council. Please note that the recipient is expected to attend the CBF Kentucky Spring Gathering at Calvary Baptist Church, Lexington, KY on April 21-22nd in order to receive the award.

All application materials must be received by email or mail no later than February 6th, 2017. Recommendations should be emailed/mailed directly to CBF Kentucky, separate from the recipient's application. For more information, please contact: CBF Kentucky at office@kybf.org.

STEPS TO APPLY:

2. Complete application form, scan and send via e-mail to CBF Kentucky at office@kybf.org or mail to CBF Kentucky, P.O. Box 7098, Louisville, KY 40257. 

3. Arrange for three references to be completed (contained in application packet) and sent to CBF Kentucky at office@kybf.org or mailed to CBF Kentucky, P.O. Box 7098, Louisville, KY 40257

 Three references are requested:

  • One must be from your pastor or ministry staff of your local church
  • One must be from a professor
  • One can be a personal recommendation of your choosing

CBF Kentucky SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE TO APPLY:

The above information (including reference letters) must be received no later than February 6th, 2017, for a spring 2017 award decision. The award will be applied for the 2017 fall semester.


CBF Kentucky 2017 Travel Grant

CBF Kentucky is excited to announce three travel grants for 2017 - two for the CBF Kentucky Spring Gathering, and another for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship General Assembly. Both grants cover meals, lodging, and transportation for the events. These grants are intended for first-time attendees.

The recipients will be determined by the Ministries Workgroup of the CBF Kentucky Coordinating Council, based on the submitted information.
