Youth Missions Weekend

Every year, sometime in Feb-April, we have our annual CBF Kentucky Youth Missions Weekend.  Church from across the state gather in central Kentucky for worship, Bible studies, and serving the community through different projects. Usually the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky supplies a seminary student as the preacher for the weekend, and Georgetown College students help lead the Bible studies and missions projects. Each year the missions weekend is a great time for the students and adults alike. Students get to laugh, serve, and grow in their faith together. Most importantly they are reminded of the wide network of believers all around them. Doing missions work is an important part of our Baptist identity, and this weekend helps to instill that sense of importance in the next generation. It is a beautiful weekend where Georgetown College, Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, and CBF come together to in working to build up the communities we live in.

Our theme in 2018 was Serving Together. We strived to help the students understand how we are in this together, and that Christ has called us a body of believers to serve and care for those around us.

The dates for 2019 are March 15th-16th and more information will be provided in December. If you are interested in bringing a youth group to this event, please contact the CBF Kentucky office at office@cbfky.org.
