Church Accountant

St. Matthews Baptist Church, Louisville, KY, is seeking a church accountant who would be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the church, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the financial operations of the church. The Church Accountant works closely with the Church Administrator and other church leadership to ensure financial integrity and transparency. Duties will include accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly journal entries, budget preparation, and supporting the financial reporting of our preschool. Seeking a candidate with a bachelors degree or equivalent experience , excellent communication skills, and computer skills. This 32-hour/week job will come with benefits.
