Minister of Music

Oakland Baptist Church, a theologically moderate church located in Rock Hill, South Carolina, is seeking a Minister of Music. We are a church that values relationships, spiritual growth in Christ, and missions. 

Our church offers a weekly worship experience, an expansive music program, a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, missions and ministry project opportunities, and focused ministries for children, youth, and adults. Our church is an inclusive and open fellowship, seeking to love all people by being the hands and feet of Christ in our community and around the world.

 
The Minister of Music will be a devoted follower of Christ, hold a music degree, and have a background that includes theological training, experience as a church musician leading choirs and handbells, and the ability to participate in and/or provide guidance for blending traditional and non-traditional services. The Minister of Music will also be responsible for overseeing other musical activities of the church.
