Pastoral Resident, Full-Time

Second Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri, seeks to hire a full-time Pastoral Resident for 2-3 years, beginning in late August 2025.

The Pastoral Resident will learn to be a Senior Pastor as they gain experience in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, administration, and other pastoral duties.

The Pastoral Resident should have a Master of Divinity degree, be a somewhat recent seminary graduate and sense a call to serve as a Senior Pastor. Some ministry or equivalent work experience following seminary is preferred.

Second Baptist Church is a 175-year-old church located in Liberty, MO, a suburb of Kansas City and is affiliated with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
